HEEL TURN: Starting with 32 stitches on the needle, I knit and then ssk until there were 8 stitches left and turned. I s1 and purled then p2tog till there were 8 stitches on the other side. I continued to decrease at the end of each row using the last stitch of the short row and the first stitch over the gap until there was no gap left. It’s centered and the “heel cup”, as it appear to be, is about 2 inches wide and I noted that my own heel is about that diameter.
